School Readiness

Make A Lasting Impact As A Literacy Tutor

Reading well by third grade is the key to success.  Building a strong foundation for reading begins during the preschool years and is a priority for New Prague Area Schools.  To support our efforts we have again been awarded a Minnesota Reading Corps grant for the 2012-2013 school year.  We are recruiting two full time literacy tutors to work in our preschools.  For more information and to apply, visit www.MinnesotaReadingCorps.org.  You can also call Lana Puffer, Early Childhood Program Coordinator, at 952-758-3348 for more information.
