Early Childhood Family Education
ECFE classes are for all parents and their children birth to kindergarten
age. ECFE is a family focused program providing parents information and
support for the challenging job of parenting their children. Fun, active
learning activities are planned for children and parents focusing on social,
emotional, intellectual and physical development. Weekly ECFE classes
are offered at two sites. Daytime and evening classes are specially designed
for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. ECFE is staffed by licensed early
childhood and parent educators. Call 952-758-1670.
Preschools
- You can still register for the 2013-2014 school year. We still
have limited openings in our preschools. Please call 952-758-1674
if you would like more information. Inclusive preschool experiences
are offered through New Prague Area Schools.
Early
Childhood Screening
Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child
is growing and developing. Between the ages of 3
and 4, screening can detect possible health or learning
concerns so that children can get help before they start school. Screening
is required by Minnesota law, before they begin kindergarten, and you
will be asked to provide a copy of your child's Early Childhood Screening
information. Call 952.758.1674 to make your appointment with New
Prague Area Schools Early Childhood Screening.

School Readiness helps 3½-5 year olds and their families prepare

including tuition scholarships to district preschools, Kids Corner and
