Jake Timm
This
is Jake's ninth year in the New Prague District. Jake has
an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in
Vocational Rehabilitation with a concentration in Special Education,
and a master's degree from Minnesota State-Mankato in the area of
Special Education.
Jake's
primary assignments this year will be a special education resource
teacher at the High School and Special Education Coordinator at
both the High School and Eagle View Elementary.
Jake
lives in Farmington with his wife Lisa and their two children Cole
and Ella. Jake is also an assistant coach for the New Prague
Trojan football team.

Darrin Sawchuk

Darrin
Sawchuk
Darrin returns to New Prague after spending
a year in Bloomington as a Special Education Supervisor. Previously,
he was with New Prague from 2005-2007 as a Speech/Language Pathologist
and a Special Education Coordinator. Darrin received his Master
of Science degree from the University of North Dakota in 1993 and
K-12 Principal License from St.Mary's University in 2006.
Darrin's primary assignments this year
will be covering the Middle and High School as a Speech/Language
Pathologist and as a Special Education Coordinator at Falcon Ridge,
the Middle School and the High School.
Darrin lives in Burnsville with his
wife Lynn and two children Nolan and Avery. He enjoys coaching his
children's hockey teams in the Winter and soccer in the Spring and
Fall. Darrin and his family are also members at the New Prague Golf
Course.

Vandenberg
Amy
began her journey in education during her undergraduate work at
the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire when she started working
for the Wisconsin Early Autism Project. She graduated from UW-Eau
Claire with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She joined
the Burnsville school district for three and half years working
in early childhood special education.
She
started in New Prague school district in 2006 in early childhood
special education. In 2007, Amy earned her Master's degree and her
Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate from Hamline University .
She started working as the district Autism Resource Specialist for
New Prague in the Fall of 2008. Amy teaches a social skills class,
participates on district Autism evaluations, co-facilitates a parent
support group, and offers district and out of district trainings.
She
is pursuing her K-12 Principals License and the Special Education
Directors License. Her current assignment includes Falcon Ridge
Elementary and Early Childhood Special Education. She is excited
and honored to be serving as one of the three Special Education
Coordinators for the New Prague school district.
