Honor Roll Recognition

An honor roll certificate will be distributed in Advisory to students making the A or B Honor Roll. “A” or “B” honor roll pins can be picked up at the offie. The honor roll list of students will be posted outside of the office and published in the New Prague Times newspaper.

The honor roll is calculated at the end of each marking period. The following numerical rating scale is used when calculating the honor roll:

     A   4.000      B   3.000      C   2.000     D   1.000

     A-   3.666     B-   2.666    C-   1.666    D-   .333

     B+   3.333    C+   2.333   D+   1.333   F   .000

In order for a student to be placed on the “A” Honor Roll, a student must have an average of 3.666 or better. In order for a student to be placed on the “B” Honor Roll, a student must have an average of 3.000 - 3.665. In order to be included in the honor roll, the student must not have a grade lower than a C or a U (unsatisfactory) or NP (no pass) for the “A” Honor Roll or a C- or a U (unsatisfactory) or NP (no pass) for the “B” Honor Roll.

Families have the ability to view your student's grades on the school's website at www.np.k12.mn.us.
