Newsbreak is a production of the Broadcast Communications Class ©2009

Broadcast Communications
Grade Level: 11, 12
Prerequisite: None
Course Description: Students in this course will get practical experience in communication skills by producing television segments for the school's closed circuit channel. The main program is a daily live school news show titled Trojan Newsbreak that aims to inform students and staff on the many happenings at New Prague High School. Students also help with special school programs. Group work is involved in putting together four specially assigned program segments. An individual music video serves as the final project for the class.
